Pita`s Foods was founded in Calgary about 20 years ago. The beginning of the business was inspired by a visit by the founder to the Middle East where he enjoyed the healthy foods offered there. He returned to Calgary determined to share healthy Mediterranean cuisine in Canada. Today Pita`s Foods proudly make and distribute a variety of Mediterranean products throughout Western Canada including: Falafel, Hummus Dip, Tzatziki Sauce, and Tahini Sauce....

We strive to encourage and supply healthy Mediterranean foods. We aim to provide consumers with healthy options other than the fatty fast foods widely available in the market. We are proudly set up in Calgary, AB, and contribute through donations and in kind products offering to many sports, charitable, and non for profit organizations.
 
New Albertan management and ownership took over from the original founder in 2013. The new management and ownership bring forth strong food preparation background and business management and development experience to Pita`s Foods.
